It’s hard to believe that it’s been five years since Samsung’s first phone-tablet hybrid device launched the phablet movement. And it’s still going strong: The Galaxy Note 7 rumors have begun ramping up across Android fan sites technology blogs, we’re joining in the fun. ’re curious to see what the Korean electronics giant will reveal for its sixth-generation phablet in just a few months, we’ll be updating this page as we hear more from the rumor mill....

Samsung has been making and releasing its own chipset-powered smartphones for a while now. However, the company’s Exynos chip powers its flagship S-series devices only in some countries. The South Korean company’s smartphone operations are run by the Samsung Mobile eXperience (MX) division, while the Samsung System LSI division designs the Exynos chipsets. According to a report from The Elec, the MX division is developing an entirely new team to design and assemble its own SoCs rather than depending on the System LSI division for Exynos chips....

But lo and behold, the 64-bit whispers are back on the table, this time nearly ready to develop into genuine rumbles. Samsung’s own official Exynos Twitter account is responsible for the surprising twist, as a cheesy pic depicting a mighty bull taking on a bullfighter (not so) subtly suggests next week’s Mobile World Congress/Unpacked announcement will be more than just about the S5. Namely, an Exynos Infinity CPU is destined to also get unveiled, and possibly run Galaxy S5’s hardware show....

Apple is continuing its rollout of the Apple Watch to third-party resellers, large UK electrical chain Currys/PC World now showing the Watch on its homepage as ‘Coming Soon.’ The chain is owned by Dixons, whose former CEO John Browett had a short and unpopular stint as head of retail at Apple before parting ways with the company. Apple’s special event next week is likely to focus primarily on iPad and Apple Watch announcements. Ahead of Tuesday’s event, a pair of leakers on Twitter claim to have new details on Apple’s rumored low-end replacement for the Apple Watch Series 3. Bloomberg reported last week that Apple was planning a new lower-end Apple Watch to replace the aging Series 3 in its lineup. The Apple Watch Series 3 is powered by Apple’s S3 processor and features a 38mm/42mm design, compared to the 40mm/44mm design of the Series 4 and Series 5....

When Apple develops a new technology or feature for its hardware, it typically rolls it out on one product then expands it to the rest of the line. For example, Touch ID launched for the iPhone in 2013 and made its way to the iPad with the iPad Air 2 in 2014. For 2015, Touch ID may make its debut on the Mac, according to a rumor from website apple.club.tw. According to the blog, which published legitimate photos of iPad Air 2 Touch ID and A8X chip components last fall, Touch ID will come to Macs this year to enable Apple Pay functionality…...

As we pointed out in our first impressions, it comes with the same processor (the Exynos 9611) as the Galaxy A50s, a broadly similar design (complete with Glastic back with a prism texture effect, although again with no water or dust resistance), a Super AMOLED Full HD+ display, a 48-megapixel main sensor, and an equally large 4000 mAh battery. It is a good looking enough phone, but not really one to turn heads, although the rectangular camera unit on the back marks it out as a recent Samsung device....

Apparently one Galaxy Tab-braned NOOK tablet wasn’t enough for Samsung and Barnes & Noble, as the manufacturer and book retail giant have just announced a newer, bigger variant. The new tablet, the Galaxy Tab 4 Nook 10.1, was officially announced on Wednesday, October 22. The new tablet is not only a larger version of the Galaxy Tab 4 Nook that launched in August, but it’s also the same exact device, specifications wise, as the Galaxy Tab 4 10....

Samsung is ready for a hectic week ahead. The Korean giant is all set to announce two new smartphones in India. Samsung will unveil the Galaxy M52 5G and Galaxy F42 5G in India.
