Roku has poached a senior Siri manager from Apple, as first reported by Bloomberg. Brian Pinkerton joined Roku this month as the company’s senior vice president of advanced development after spending nearly three years as a Siri chief architect at Apple. At Roku, Pinkerton’s role will be broader than what he focused on at Apple. The company says he will lead “technical innovation and software development.” He served as the Siri chief architect for nearly three years at Apple, from January of 2018 until November 2020....

LG is a company that I’ve often made fun of because they seem to do everything Samsung does, only slightly worse.
