Samsung’s 13 megapixel camera in the Galaxy S4 is getting praise from just about everyone who touches it. Which brings up the obvious question: Can the company make it even better? On the software side, Tab 4 Nook owners will have “easy access to Barnes & Noble’s expansive digital collection of more than three million books, leading magazines, and newspapers.” The co-branded tablet will be available in the U.S from early August and will be displayed alongside Nook’s other eReaders and sold at more than 700 Barnes & Noble’s bookstores. The company updated its blog post Tuesday regarding the RNB6 it showed off at CES. It now says that instead of direct sales you’ll be able to get the system from select manufacturers who put it in their cars. “As of today there is no plan to sell RNB6 in aftermarket channels as RNB6 embedded technologies require deep integration with car series manufacturers,” the post said. rrot didn’t specify which manufactures would include its system....
Apple has reportedly informed service providers that it has some sort of “AppleCare-related changes” planned for next Tuesday, December 8. It’s not explicitly clear what this could mean, but history suggests it could relate to some sort of new hardware announcement — or nothing at all. MacRumors has obtained an internal memo from a “reliable source” detailing that service provider technicians should “prepare for new product SKUs, new/updated product descriptions, and new/updated product pricing....
Rumors about a jumbo Samsung tablet have been floating around the web since June. Today, however, we finally got some “detailed” information thanks to a guy that somehow attended a secret Samsung briefing in Korea. He says Samsung’s 12.2 inch tablet is called the Galaxy Note Pro. Its display will put out 2560 x 1600 pixels. Do the math, and that comes out to a little less than 250 pixels per inch....
For as long as I can remember, Samsung has been demoing bendable OLED screens at various tradeshows. A video my old colleagues from IntoMobile uploaded in January 2011 (see below) is proof of that. A good display and somewhat routine design And in best Samsung tradition, the Galaxy M20 leads with its display. Those expecting an AMOLED one will be disappointed but that cannot detract from the fact that the 6.3-inch display on the M20 is a very good one. We would have liked better sunlight visibility but considering its price point, the display delivers very good colors (if slightly on the oversaturated side) and will not disappoint anyone looking to view videos and read the text....
